I forgot to post a picture of my car display and for that I apologize. This uses a simple shadow box that is just over 1.5" total depth. The shadow box can be found at a hobby lobby or Michaels....don't forget the 50% off coupon on any item! I simply stacked the cars inside to make it look crazy and used lots of colors. I think it turned out really cool and is fun to look at. Great way to do something with old cars you have hidden away.
Total investment: $19
Super simple and anybody can do this!

But, why would you ruin all those Hotwheels like that?

How...
How do you play with them?
They look... dead .

But none are ruined! Not even scratched. Gently sat in there.

In all seriousness...I like the red stepside on the right and the silver M1 in the center. I have a similar M1, but in dark blue with a lightning motif and some crazy silver wheels...was almost as fast as my GT40 on tracks.

Something about being sealed inside the shadowbox...I know it's not permanent and you can take them out when you want...but it seems...almost morbid? It's definitely a creative display and obviously you took care to put them in carefully. I guess it's just not my tastes. Well done on thinking outside...or I guess in...the box.

I feel ya, I just thought it would look good in my cave as a different way to display them. It's a colorful room so the theme works.
